About us

Conscious Fertility Cooperative is a non-profit organization founded by a group of healthcare professionals passionately committed to assisting women on their fertility journey. Our goal is to create a supportive network and an educational venue that inspires and empowers women throughout all phases of their reproductive health.

SARAI STAPLETON, MAOM, L.Ac., FABORM

Sarai created CFC, a licensed Dipl. of Oriental Medicine, owns Axis Acupuncture of Austin and specializes in fertility challenges and reproductive health. She is an inaugural fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, and began her practice initially with Randine Lewis, founder of The Fertile Soul and author of The Infertility Cure. Sarai created CFC as a means to empower women in their journey to conceive by providing resources that are educated in modern medicine and steeped in ancient tradition to help optimize fertility.

ROSALIND HANEY, RN, CCN

Rosalind provides fertility guidance through her knowledge as a Registered Nurse, clinical nutritionist, childbirth educator and infertility nurse. She believes strongly in the body’s inherent ability to heal and reproduce. Rosalind teaches the biology of reproductive health and helps individuals and couples identify the simple diet and lifestyle choices they need to enable fertility and a healthy pregnancy.

SANDY GARCIA, MD

Dr. Garcia has been a pediatric ER physician at Dell Children’s hospital for 10 years. She is an Austin native, with interests in complementary medicine and fertility. She brings experiential as well as western medical knowledge to benefit those going through the fertility journey.

DAPHNE CARRICK, RN, MSN

Daphne has been a registered nurse for 19 years and holds a Masters degree in Nursing. Licensed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in California, she spent the majority of her nursing career in Women’s Health. She is married and enjoys being a mother to their 2 1/2 year old daughter. Due to experiencing her own fertility challenges, her focus and passion shifted to supporting and empowering other women who are experiencing similar difficulties.
